I find comfort in the absurd and out-of-proportion in worlds that feel beyond this one. Surreal is more real to me.

• Produced and edited a documentary that spawned a movement to reduce the disparities in Autism diagnosis and treatment for African American youths.

• Learned sound recording, editing, and mixing to pioneer a podcast series and carry and deliver the story in film. Dubbed the "Seamstress of Sound" for the way I select, time, and visualize music, sound effects, and language to land a thought, elicit an emotional response, and create a world for the story to live in.

• Come from the libraries of Gurnee, IL, to Editor-in-Chief of newspapers and literary magazines, to classrooms with Sir Salman Rushdie and poet Jericho Brown at Emory University. Graduated Magna Cum Laude in Creative Writing/English and Film Studies with a thesis in poetry and first independent short film.
