As Long As I Got You
Producer / Editor / Sound Engineer
From idea to social movement
What began as an idea to document a day in the life of one talented man, became a movement to reduce the disparities in Autism diagnosis and treatment for African American youths.
As a Grammy award-winning music producer, he’s one of the industry’s most sought-after talents. As a father, he leads the charge in finding better treatment and educational opportunities for his daughter Makayla, who’s been diagnosed with a rare form of autism. “As Long as I Got You” follows the life of Khari “Needlz” Cain, and the love he commits to his career and his family.

A solution on wheels
With Needlz and his family at the helm, we officially launched a website that features our documentary and an ambitious GoFundMe fundraising campaign to raise $350,000 for the “Makayla Moving Autism” mobile experience. With investment from community partners, Makayla Moving Autism will be a fully customized tour bus offering clinical testing, therapeutic sessions along with educational resources and support each family and child dealing with autism deserves. On a scheduled basis, from the city of Atlanta to rural destinations throughout Georgia, it will be an invaluable resource to those who are underserved and often unaware as to what they could do to combat the challenges of autism.
